For this 420-square-metre family villa in Dubai's Meadows community, we stripped back a heavily compartmentalized layout and opened the home around a sculptural central staircase. Throughout, we worked with a material palette of travertine, micro-cement and reeded stone, adding unexpected depth with a concealed listening lounge and a Moroccan-inspired powder room.
